Filer Township

Planning Commission

The planning commission is a group of seven residents who meet 12 times a year and based on need, to review site plans or special land use requests, write or amend ordinances and hold public hearings. The planning commission develops a master plan for the township and then helps residents and businesses develop property in accordance with that plan and code of ordinances.

Members must be qualified electors.

Meeting Schedule

All regular meetings will be held at the Charter Township of Filer Hall, 2505 Filer City Road, Manistee, Michigan 49660.

Tues. August 15, 2023 – 6:00 p.m.

Special meetings shall be called and held at the discretion of the Planning Commission and with proper and due notice
of such special meetings.
